MEDITATION

Meditation is the process of reducing stress, tension and fatigue from our nervous systems.  It is about removing the layers we have built up over months, years and decades so we can operate at our optimum.  So we can deal with the chaos of this dynamic modern life in a calm thought out way. With an elevated conscious state.

WHY WE NEED TO MEDITATE

In todays fast paced ever changing society we are caught up in constant activity and struggling to be the best versions of ourselves. We are hyper scheduling our own lives and our children’s lives. We are racing from appointment to appointment, from school to work to activities to the shops.  We are managing households, looking after our families, trying to hold jobs, to do them well. We are trying to be good mothers great wives/ partners, a friend that is always there. We are trying to do it all and have it all. Great, why not. Is this sustainable, for most of us, no. 

 

How can we take control, how can we maintain the life we are living or better still how can we enjoy the life we are living. Enjoy the chaos we call life but in a controlled, calm and present way. How can we not over react to situations,

How can we respond to conflict in a calm thought out way. 

How can we not get over whelmed at the thought of an afternoon in the car taxing children to their activities or the deadline we face at work. How can we stay creative and inventive when our minds are racing.

How can we control our minds instead of our minds controlling us?

Meditation relaxes the mind and therefore the body and releases unwanted stresses that effect our nervous system and hence our well being. Allowing us to operate at our optimum on a more regular basis.

WHAT IS VEDIC MEDITATION 

MY STYLE - VEDIC MEDITATION 

I teach a transcending style of meditation.  Derived from the Vedic lineage. I have been taught how to pass on this beautiful practice, through extensive training from Tim Brown the foremost Vedic Meditation teacher in Australia. 

HOW I TEACH

 

I teach you to have your own practice and to do this I must integrate it into your life.

 

I teach in four sessions. The session are subsequent in days.  They range from 60 - 90 minutes. After the four sessions I have a follow up with you the week later.

 

You also have access to a weekly ‘club med’ group meditation that runs over zoom or in Byron Bay and I allow you to resit the course in a group setting at any time. Basically it is a lifetime membership.

WHY IS VEDIC MEDITATION SO GOOD

CALMNESS

meditation gives you an inner calmness, it cuts back your stress chemistry (like cortisol and adrenaline) and replaces it with natural bliss chemistry (like dopamine and serotonin).
